Okay, you know the sale ends tomorrow for these pizzas that I've been boasting about, right? At a time when we're all trying to save $$$, Safeway has a great deal on some ono food!!!

At the foot of One of Hawai'i's historic landmarks is The Waterfront - a cool place for your special event!!!
Now let me share with you what your event could look like at The Waterfront!!!
All the lounge and linen design was done by one of my most favorite hardworking women in the industry Naomi Lee of Les Saisons!!!
Yummy food by Chais Bistro and....
One of my faves - Kahala Caterers (a fellow Honolulu Magazine 2009 Best Of Recipient)!
Look at all the brides and grooms who showed up to check out the venue!
Here we find Merri Ford, Special Events Coordinator of Kahala Caterers talking with the inquisitive couples.
It was a fun filled evening at the Waterfront!
Loved bumping into my very good friends like, Da Honeys, Dave Miyamoto and Michelle Guda.
My lovely couple, Haunani and Alika, who's celebration is going to take place at the Waterfront on May 2nd of 2009!!!
Here's Bryson Dang of the Wedding Cafe, fellow photographer extraordinaires - David Murphey and Derek Wong (LOVE that shirt Derek)!
Again, big MAHALOS goes out to:
Leslie Fair, Mark Malalis and their friend Dayna for hair, makeup and styling!
Crystal Evans, Events Director for the Waterfront at Aloha Tower,
Kris Labang seen here with Mona Hirata of Weddings by Grace and Mona!
Jason of Exquisite Entertainment for hooking us up with the jams!!!
Greg Ventura of Advanced Visual Arts - LOVE YOU Bruddah!!! You work so hard!!!
Telly for all the dancing lessons!!!
Again, the Bridal Boutique and Naomi of Les Saisons!!!
Mahalo to my model couple, Alita and Kamu! Thanks for being so fun to work with!!!
Yes, it certainly was a fun afternoon and evening at the Waterfront at the Aloha Tower Marketplace!!! Please be sure to check out this cool venue if you're in need of a fun and extraordinary place for your celebration!!!
Peace out!!!

I hated my teeth growing up! I come from extremely humble beginnings and having a fabulous smile was NOT on my mom's agenda of priorities. Things like food and shelter came first! But as a kid, especially as a teenager, those things came in last! Achieving to look hip, cool and pretty took precedence over everything (it seems).
Back in 1988, when I joined the work force, I decided to take things into my own hands. I wanted a beautiful smile! I no longer wanted to have this set of choppers for the rest of my life!
I knew that it was going to be costly for braces. I didn't want to ask my mom or anyone for financial assistance. I wanted to do it on my own. So...I worked really hard, endured all the pain and "soft foods" that one could take (this is why I really, really dislike Clam Chowder to this day!) And then voila! Next thing you know I achieved the smile that will last me for a lifetime!
This is more than a story about crooked teeth...
I'm the kind of person that doesn't WAIT for things to happen. I believe that if you're really passionate about something and you believe you can have it or do it, doors will open and you can achieve your dreams. You need to be and stay positive, humble, and share that wonderful energy with everyone around you! Just live ALOHA!!!
The mold of my teeth is such a great reminder for me of what you can do if you put your heart, mind and soul into it. YOU CAN DO IT, Peeps!!!
I will not be carrying my mold with me for inspiration so please don't ask me to "buss' it out" when you see me, okay? Just hold this story in your heart...my hope is that this post (yes, the mold of my teeth) will inspire you to take on your dreams and goals!!! Make it HAPPEN!!!

Michelle Guda (aka "Honey Babe), one of my BFFs, came up with a brilliant idea! She wanted to take photos in front of Maryknoll's colorful "construction" wall in front of the upcoming Maryknoll School Community Center which is slated to open on May 7, 2009.
Fortunately, we did these photos this past Sunday. I just drove by this same wall yesterday and found that part of it was gone! Like life, things are only temporary so you have to seize the day! Like Michelle said, "Here today, gone tomorrow...."

Yes, I admit it. I've fallen off of the workout wagon. I love working out! I love Acai Bowls! And lately I haven't had much of either! Fortunately, I am drowning in work. Unfortunately, work and the busyness of life has made it a little difficult for me to enjoy these two loves.
